This sound was made with 3 lfos, 1 vco and 1 vca. It was decided that the sound should be 30s. It took some tries for me to set the lfo that controlled the vca. The vca controls the output amplitude of the sound.

I was looking for an effect like this but i could not find it so i took the sound out of a youtube video, i mastered and here it is.

Erh's nugroove1 with some edited samples of erdie's explosion sample, it ends with a reverse explosion. I took the sweeps out of erh's loop and put them on 2 different tracks, and there is an obvious change in tempo. Some simple delay, uncompressed, a simple eq setting. . . That's all.

I wanted the sound of a sword being unsheathed so i took a nice zingy metal sword (from hello_flower's sword. Wav) and added a little chunk of wooden click at the beginning (from q. K. 's sword_sheath. Wav). This is my first submitted freesound hope you like it.

This is a recording of a very old typewriter. I had a digital audio recorder that records 96/32 wav files onto an sd card. I took the recording inside an antique shop of a classic typewriter for sale, used some noise reduction on it, and added some dither. Here you go. Use it for any project you may have.

This recording was taken in the highland park, a chicago suburb. In this recording, the person recording took notice that there were many different pitches in the sound of the air in the open space. Listeners will also hear a rushing car and birds chirping. Furthermore, listeners will hear similar drops of water hitting a puddle off a gutter.

This is a recording i took in my back yard on the 4th of july 2014. There are the sounds of crickets as neighborhood fireworks being set off faintly in the background sounding almost like a war zone. Took a sample from a video of a friend saying "this is the pwngene's house" (pwngene/eugene/ug was his online moniker and the video was him showing his apartment) and edited it to say "this is house". But i never did anything with it. Mostly cause my own stuff isn't true house music.

The sound recorded by the high-way. A police car runs very fast with the siren on. Recorded with korg mr-1 and two at3032s. Before this recording session, i lost a sponge head of one 3032, so i took off another one. It was like walking on the moon without space suit.

I took this recording from my room in a beautiful casa on the main square in santa clara. It was warm and not windy so i could keep the windows open during the storm, and eavesdrop on this little party, which seemed to warm up as the storm did. This is an edited version of a longer clip i have also uploaded to freesound.

I took the sound "arpasauro atmo" from thalamus_lab and stretched it + fading in and out, because i needed a longer version. I just love the atmosphere it creates! the gong at the beginning transmuted into some kind of a mystical choir and at the end the short squeaking turned into some kind of a slow door groan. . A remix of freesound 252834 and 17804. I took 252834 and course quantized it in goldwave, then lowered the volume and mixed it with some of the static from 17804. Then i played the mix through my computer speakers and recorded it with my webcam to immitate the cheesy fake apparatus used by the ghost hunters tv series and the like.

All this time i´ve been doing a ton of drum samples from almost every edm subgenre, so, i took a transient from a house club kick and a sub bass i made by miself, compressed the hell out of them, distorted the sub bass and added the special sauce, the izotope ozone 8 to make a cool jungle terror kick. Note: you can expect from now seeing drum sampples in this page!!!.

This sound i made with a python script. The script simulates a 2d-network of 13x13 identical masses connected with springs. I 'feed' one mass in a corner of the network with a 'chirp' of 400-2000 hz for one second and the system resonates at its characteristic frequencies. I 'listen' to the resonating system in the adjacent corner. The decay of the sound was build in, but the last half second i edited the volume to zero. The code took a few hours to execute. Crowded diner/restaurant in tokyo. This is a stereo mixdown of a 4 channel surround recording i took in a crowded restaurant in tokyo. You can hear a a lot of conversations, some waiters and lots of utensil sounds. Most of the conversation in the background is in japanese. I think i heard some english when i edited this, but i'm not really sure. Anyways, good stuff. Mics were places at a 20 degree and 90 degree angle and then later mixed down to stereo. Enjoy!.

I took a clip from the audio i recorded of wax paper crinkling, cut a segment from it, played it backwards, put it on loop, layered it with the original, and this is what i got. There is an somewhat syncopated pattern to the sounds, but the audio is cut off before it makes a full cycle. Enjoy.
